Write for us
We welcome pitches that help general readers examine how news is written, sourced, framed or updated. Send proposals through the Contact page; a clear idea matters more than a polished sales pitch.
Ideas we welcome
We are interested in focused explainers, comparisons, background pieces, myth-checking and reading exercises connected to headlines, sources, context, updates or news habits. A strong piece gives readers a distinct question to consider and a way to apply the idea to material they encounter. Keep the scope manageable and evergreen where possible.
What makes a good pitch
Tell us the proposed subject, the central point, why it would help our readers and how you would support factual claims. Mention any likely limitations or areas of uncertainty. Avoid pitches that depend on invented examples presented as real, sweeping claims about whole groups, or advice that requires professional or local expertise.
Sending a proposal
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial option. Include a proposed title, a short summary and any relevant experience you want us to consider. Do not send confidential material or assume that a pitch has been accepted until we reply.
Curiosity before certainty
News deserves attention, and attention deserves a pause. We look for the wording, evidence and missing context that help readers think for themselves.
